Puig opens the Torre Puig T2 and thus expands its headquarters in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat. The company has announced it through a press release this Monday and has advanced that it will be inaugurated in the first quarter of 2024.

This second tower is in the same location as the first and aims to provide the necessary space for all the needs of the new employees.

Puig's new tower, or as they call it, Puig-T2, has the capacity to house a total of 485 employees from the Operations Hub and its Innovation Centre and includes laboratories with the latest technology to facilitate innovation when creating new products.

The surface area is more than 21,000 square metres, distributed over a total of 20 floors and facilities that contain all the amenities for its employees.

Marc Puig, the executive president, emphasised that thanks to the new tower they will double the surface area of the headquarters and that this is a sign of the growth and expansion that the company is experiencing.

Less than a month ago, the CEO himself said in an interview to the newspaper La Vanguardia that the company was considering a stock market flotation as one of the alternatives to avoid conflicts in the company when it would be controlled by the fourth generation. However, he clarified that this was not the only option on the table and that the family would always own the majority of the company's share capital. In the same interview, he pointed out that the work on the second Puig Tower had already been completed and that only the final details needed to be ironed out.

Puig expects to exceed the 4,000 million turnover of the past 2022 and in May, in an article in Forbes, the company explained that it wanted to strengthen its presence in the luxury market, leaving among its signals, a significant growth of brands related to this sector such as Kama Ayurveda, Loto del Sur or Byredo.
