Iberchem culminates 2023 with a new award. The Murcia-based fragrance producer received the Market Expansion Award on 8 December at the Gala Dinner Awards ceremony organised by the Spanish Chamber of Commerce of South China. The gala was attended by both Spanish and Chinese companies, as well as public institutions from several countries.
The Gala Dinner Awards recognizes the achievements and trajectory of some companies in the Chinese market and in this case, it was the turn of Iberchem. Tony Xu, General Manager of Iberchem China, pointed out that one of the key factors that have enabled the company's growth in China is that the company has always been quick and easy to adapt to customer requests and needs, without neglecting its loyalty and faithfulness to the company's philosophy. "We differentiate ourselves from the rest by offering solutions and providing opportunities for our customers/suppliers to grow together, being sustainable and committed to the environment and society," said Tony Xu.
The head of Iberchem in China is optimistic about the future scenario of the company in the country. "China is a country with many opportunities due to its large population and our expansion plan will offer more and better services to our customers, always trying to reduce the environmental impact and increasing our production capacity. Our expansion will not only serve the Chinese market but also the rest of Asia in terms of R&D and legislation," explained Xu.
The Murcian company achieved record sales in 2022 with a figure that reached 250 million euros, which represented a year-on-year sales increase of more than 20%. In addition, the company achieved a new 'green' goal, reducing its CO2 emissions by 85%.
