'Vannity': the first fragrance to break into the phygital world

Aktiva's proposal together with 'Make a Mark' adapts to the user's identity and transcends emotional, physical and virtual limits

Have you ever wondered when wearing a perfume how it can show the brand? Or how we can do smell a brand in the digital world? Vannity has the solution to this question.

It's a ritual of enigmatic beauty. Created with the finest handcrafted essences, luxury scented jewelry and an IoT foundation for a fully digital experience.

Vannity the proposal of Aktiva inside Make a Mark, a project developed by Estal, Avery Dinneson and Leonard Kurz, leaders in the sector, where the 20 better creative agencies of the world, have done an exercise of concept design.

The Vannity jar is inspired by alabaster bowls, where shamans and druids made their potions, ointments and paintings that they later used in their secret rituals. Now, it re-creates with a perfume 360; first when it uses and it carries , afterwards with the digital experience.

In the top of the cap find the jewels perfumed had elegantly. A fashionable accessory that does visible the mark while they use . The jewels have new and infinite possibilities, turning into an expendable, interchangeable and coleccionable.

"The fact to be a perfume that sees is a proposal that would benefit to the marks, since, the perfumes would be easily recognizable so much in the real life, as in the metaverso". Explain to us Anna Gané, industrial designer at Aktiva.

Make a Mark

The device IoT finds in the base, that by means of Bluetooth, connects with the Vannity App. There you can customise in exclusive your avatar in the main metaverses, in addition to giving you access to the digital universe of the brand.

The human factor was essential to this project. A challenge with a brief so free, that turned into an extra motivation, to risk and obtain an entirely differential result.

"Make a Mark has been one of the most valuable experiences professionally that have lived up to now. (…) Very enriquecedor can live the project from 0, creating it, testing, debating, until seeing it physically produced. Live all the process of complete form is the most remarkable, even can observe and listen the opinions and impressions of the possible users when knowing the proyector". Vannity turns into the first scent that adentra in the world phygital. It adapts really to the identity of the user and trascends the emotional limits, physicists and virtual.
