Innia Beauty presents a new product this February that it has been working on for a long time. It is a cream that contains a star active ingredient: VeganDDS Retinal.

As Innia Beauty explains, Retinal stimulates the production of hyaluronic acid, collagen and elastin, and therefore improves the strength and elasticity of the skin. In addition, it accelerates the skin's cell renewal process, improving the overall appearance and texture of the skin and minimising pores. It also has a stronger antibacterial action than other retinoids, making it especially effective in the treatment of acne.

Properties of the active ingredient

  • Stimulates the production of collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid.

  • It acts as an antioxidant and cell regenerator, minimises pore size and prevents hyperkeratinisation.

  • Reduces acne.

Benefits of liposomal retinal

  • It Protects the retinal from oxidation.

  • Provides maximum penetration of the ingredient into the skin.

  • Offers a longer lasting effect thanks to the skin release system.

  • Increases the bioavailability of the active ingredient.

  • Prevents colour changes in the cosmetic product.

The brand explains that the formula of Retinal Revival Cream by Innia Beauty contains 10% liposomed retinal, which is the maximum percentage recommended by the manufacturer.  Retinal DDS Vegan at a dose of 5% increases: +87% Collagen | +60% Elastin | +120% CRABP2 expression.

An ex vivo efficacy study conducted by the manufacturer using human skin explants has revealed that, at equal concentration levels of Retinal and over an application period of only seven days, the VeganDDS-Retinal product is much more efficient than Retinal applied in free form, increasing elastin levels by more than 50% and recovering up to 95% of lost collagen. In addition, VeganDDS-Retinal has been shown to increase the expression of the CRAPB2 protein gene, which is closely related to the skin's ageing process.
