Although you probably know this, it's probably a good idea to read it two or three times so as not to trip over the same stone. And we won't lie to you if the answer to the question "How was your holiday?" that is asked during these days of returning to work is usually "Well, holidays are always good, but the return...".

We hope we are in time for you to review the following list of tips that, in our opinion, can give you the key to making that good holiday vibe last over time. What's more, we hope that all or most of them will accompany you throughout this new "course" so that your health and well-being are optimal to face the coming challenges.

What we have found is that the two biggest challenges are, on the one hand, to get back into the usual work rhythm, and secondly, not least, to keep motivation and energy high.

With this in mind, let's see what you think of these 7 suggestions:

  1. Prioritise organisation over survival. Organise your home, your fridge, your workspace, but also your tasks and your agenda. Leave little to improvisation, so organisation will be key.
  2. Make time for yourself. You've probably been working on yourself these days off, so don't let it go. Take the opportunity to find one or more micro-moments a day to pamper yourself, relax, unwind and breathe. As a professional or a beauty lover, for example, use routines to relax and oxygenate your body.
  3. Take an inventory of to-dos. A good To Do list will be your great ally at start-up times: with office schedules, school start-ups, beginning of routines, etc.
  4. Regain healthy lifestyle habits. It's been great to give yourself a bit of a break, but now it's essential to rest for 6-8 hours, respect circadian cycles, get back to healthy eating habits and, of course and above all, don't forget to move! Take advantage of the daylight hours in the evenings or weekends to go out in nature, swim in the sea or simply reconnect with physical exercise.
  5. It's better to set mini-goals than to dive headlong into big projects just to get to the office. You have the experience and skills to face whatever comes your way, but don't forget to respect a progressive rhythm of incorporation to work. Your mental and physical health will thank you for it.
  6. Make time for a new activity or motivation. In fact, connect it to one of your passions or something you discovered during the summer break. This will keep your mind active and open and help you keep a positive attitude.
  7. Finally, prioritise your mental health and don't want to rush. If you see that circumstances are getting the better of you or unforeseen events don't let you set the pace, ask for help.
