Through a communiqué by part of the holding, the family founder of the Italian manufacturer of shoes of luxury is studying the possibility to purchase the participations of the others investors by 338 million euros and privatise the group.

The footwear company belonging to family Della Valle, increased by 40%  last year managing to grow after five years of consecutive falls. With this operation, as it has informed the family Della Valley in the writing, "the aim is to increase the value of the individual marks of the group, giving them a strong individual visibility and operative autonomy. Through this strategy, we pretend to strengthen the positioning of the our brands in the top of the market of quality and luxury, with a high level of desirability." The strategy that pursues mainly is the one to achieve attract to the buyers of luxury younger.

The figure set for sale by the family Della Valley is the same that when it made the first offer in the year 2000, when Tod's contributed for the first time in Milan. The price of the actions fixed by part of the family are of €40 by action and has the intention to buy 25,55% of the social capital of Tod's and of this way, attain 90% of property.

LVMH Will follow having a participation of 10% in the company through his French subsidiary Delphine SAS and they dismiss the available possibilities to this multinational of the luxury in the short term.

BNP Paribas, Crédit Agricole Corporate Investment Bank and Deutsche Bank act also like financial advisers and also provide finance for the offer.
