The sales in world-wide luxury will grow at least 5% this year

Such as it has published Reuters, the forecasts for the sales related with the sector of the luxury are foreseen that they grow at least 5% this year, so much in the shops of United States as in Europe, will purchase products related with the jewellery, watchmaking and shoes of luxury.

Claudia D'Arpizio, partner of the office Bain & Company in Milan and lider of Bain's Luxury Googs, ensures in the interview for Reuters that the conflict of Ukraine does not seem to have affected to the consumption of luxury by part of the rest of the world, at least, until the moment.

From Bain, estimate that to global level will reach a figure of sales of at least 305 trillion euros this year, and in the more optimist of the stages, could reach the 330. All these estimates, as it admitted D'Arpizio, take into account the stock market unsteadiness that lives right now in United States and the possible economic recession caused largely by the war between Ukraine and Russia.

Regarding the consumption of luxury in Russia, obviously, yes that it has seen affected: before the invasion to Ukraine, the rich Russians contributed around 7 million euros in the shopping of these products. Now, so only they represent the 2-3% of the world-wide market.

The past 2021, when the world began to wake up and to try recover a bit this normality after a 2020 marked by the COVID-19, the analysts of Bain contributed a series of data on the consumption of articles of luxury in 2021: the sales of these articles, that include clothes, accessories and products beauty, tolcanzaron the 288 million euros, when the initial prognosis was of 5 millions less.
