Roka Furadada shows its most human and involved side. The Barcelona-based startup specialising in sun protection has delivered the first batch of sunscreen with SPF 30 and containing its ROKA Smart UV technology to the Hospital del Mar.
The creams are intended for patients in the Intensive Care Unit who participate in therapeutic trips to the sea as part of the ICU humanisation programme. These sunscreens will help patients to enjoy them safely.
Judit Camargo, CEO of Roka Furadada and Judit Bigas, Scientif Project Manager of the company, participated in the donation of the batch, as well as some of the professionals and managers who are part of the Intensive Care Unit of the Catalan health institution. Camargo, after the event and after having participated in these therapeutic outings, was thrilled to have been able to live the experience: "it is very exciting to be able to be in the therapeutic outing and to be able to contribute to such a human and necessary project", explains the CEO of the company.
