The company located in Ripollet is committed to innovation. Proquimia Cosmetics continues to implement improvements in its facilities to present its customers with the most competitive options in the presentation of its products. Joan Serra, from the company itself, explains to Next in Beauty that in 2024, Proquimia Cosmetics has adapted its packaging lines to have the capacity to pack, seal and condition any cosmetic product in its original packaging and in the refill packs of the same product, saving 90% of plastic and presenting more competitive packs. A single product can be placed in the same pack or combined with another product to complete the treatment. Within this process, Serra has detailed that the technical and design department is also involved in order to offer the possibility of personalising according to the client's tastes and to be able to collaborate with the development of this type of presentation.

Proquimia Cosmetics closed 2023 with a turnover of more than five million euros and recorded a 15% increase in sales. The company, which develops, manufactures and packages cosmetics, perfumery and personal care products for third parties, said it has also increased its cosmetics and perfume unit production by almost 20%. Serra, CEO of Proquimia Cosmetics, shared with Next in Beauty that part of this growth is also due to the increase in demand from domestic and foreign customers, which has led to an increase in its annual accounts.

The company also points out that they have recently acquired a new generation of 3D printing equipment that allows them to carry out any type of tooling in less than 24 hours. Proquimia Cosmetics, which has up to nine industrial warehouses in the Catalan town of Ripollet, celebrated its 40th anniversary last year and has a workforce of more than 40 people.
