'Proquimia Cosmetics' celebrates 40 years since its foundation

'Proquimia Cosmetics' is in luck. The laboratory situated in Ripollet (Barcelona) that devotes to the development of cosmetics fulfils 40 years since it founded , in 1982, by Josep Llobet and Manel Lavega. The current owners are Manel Lavega and Marina Llobet, the daughter of Josep Llobet, managed by the General Director, Joan Serra.

The company initiated his route with 6 workers and an industrial ship of 500 square metres, but after 40 years, and a lot of effort and work, at present, have a staff of 42 workers and 8 ships with more than 5.000 square metres.

Joan Serra shows pleasantly satisfied for having seen the evolution and the growth that has experienced along the years 'Proquimia Cosmetics', and has shared with Next In Beauty any of the most important facts that has allowed to the company continue with its development until turning into what at present is: "Some of our main milestones have been, initially, strengthen us like one of them companies referents in the world of the development and cosmetic manufacture. In the last two decades the bet decided by the development and enlargement of our department of R&D and by the automation and continuous improvement of processes. And more recently the opening of the division of perfumery and the one of atmosphere of the home." As it indicates Serra, this investment in R&D has allowed that it have produced an enlargement in the laboratories, in control of quality, microbiology and documentation. All this, translates in the service to the customer to provide the maximum security in his products manufactured. "We have kept a politics of permanent technological investment that has allowed us have of the equipments and necessary technical systems to offer a service of high quality. Sincerely, I think that me father would feel very proud", has declared Marina Llobet, current proprietary.

In the press release, stand out that they work day in day out under the same aim: "improve day in day out the manufacture of cosmetics and perfumes and improve the own competitiveness". Serra, the general director has shared the singularities that do them differentiate of the rest: "definitely the orientation to look for the satisfaction of the needs of our customers; Development, Regulatory advice, manufacture and the service to time and in cost. We are a company Private Label pure (do not have own marks and always work for the one of our customers). It is by this that is so important to give a very good service. We define us like the factory of our customers and the service to them is our basic appearance." 'Proquimia Cosmetics' accompanies the customer throughout the process: from the development of the formula, to the packaging and all the procedure both before and after.

In how much to the future and what comes of face to the next 2023, one of the main goals for 'Proquimia Cosmetics' is, as it has explained Joan Serra, "The advance decided to the company 4.0 combining technical advanced of production and operations with integrated technologies in the organisation." In how much to the uncertainty that accompanies us the current moment, the general director signals, that, for this, is important to have a project on a long-term basis that allows to anticipate: "'Proquimia Cosmetics' always has had and has a project on a long-term basis. Our lemma is independence and permanence, this is, on the one hand, be able so much in financial levels, organisational and industrial to follow serving and satisfying to the highest level the needs of our customers was cual was the situation. The uncertainty can not face in the short term. Only with a project on a long-term basis and with an organisation and a robust strategy in the time, can reach the stability and the success although the circumstances to short and half term are changing" explains Joan Serra.
