The companies Muttu CosmeticLab and Devera have signed a collaboration agreement to offer advanced Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and carbon footprint calculation services through Artificial Intelligence technologies, specifically aimed at the cosmetic sector.

Thanks to this alliance, brands, laboratories, and manufacturers in the sector will be able to access automated tools capable of evaluating the environmental impact of their products from a comprehensive perspective, covering every stage of the process, from ingredient formulation and sourcing, to packaging, logistics, and final consumer use. All of this with the aim of facilitating sustainable decision-making, optimizing processes, and offering verifiable information that promotes more transparent and credible communication with the market.

Our goal is to democratize access to scientific sustainability in cosmetics, and to do so with the agility that AI allows,” states the MuttuLab team, a pioneer in innovation and technological development solutions applied to cosmetic formulation. With this collaboration, Muttu seeks to scale its commitment to data-driven cosmetics, where decisions are based on verifiable environmental metrics and not just marketing claims.

For its part, Devera, specializing in advanced analytics and artificial intelligence applied to industrial sustainability, will contribute its expertise in data modeling, calculation automation, and process optimization through machine learning algorithms. Its technology will enable the processing of large volumes of information in a matter of seconds, reducing the time and cost traditionally involved in LCA analyses.

The alliance comes at a key moment for the cosmetics industry, which is undergoing a profound transformation towards more sustainable and circular models. In a context where consumers increasingly demand traceability, transparency, and environmental commitment, having tools that quantify a product's impact has become a real competitive advantage.
