The Beauty Cluster, an entity that represents more than 240 cosmetics, perfumery and personal care companies, has incorporated Carles Solsona to its team. Carles, who will work on business development and expansion of the cluster's projects, has more than 35 years of experience in the Spanish cosmetics and perfumery industry, being a benchmark in the field of communication, events and initiatives to give visibility to the sector's organisations.

In Carles' own words; "From my first years studying journalism, I worked for several newspapers as a trainee, such as La Vanguardia, before joining TV3 at the end of my degree. I was there for three years until the management team of 4 plus 4 (later Podium Ediciones and now Podium Global Media) asked me to collaborate with them until I joined their team. From editor, I became editor-in-chief and later on I was in charge of the accounts of the main clients of the magazine "Ventas de Perfumería y Cosmética" (Perfumery and Cosmetics Sales). Later we integrated the Trade division (corporate magazines), the magazines "Farmaventas" and "News Packaging". Finally, I took over the management of the magazine "Ventas de Perfumería y Cosmética", adding a wide experience in moderating round tables, organising conferences, sector awards and other activities in the field of perfumery and dermo-cosmetics, to name but a few. I have participated as a jury member in several prestigious international awards and I hope to bring all that experience to help the cluster to grow and bring even more value to our industry" concludes the new business developer of the Beauty Cluster.

The incorporation of Carles will allow the cluster to better unite the participation of companies in the sector in major projects and add his long experience and expertise in the development of quality activities for the industry that will allow the cluster and its activities and services to meet the challenges set for the coming years.
