mesoestetic celebrates four decades this year, according to Carles Font, what is the secret to this success?The secret lies in having known how to evolve without losing our essence. At mesoestetic® we have been committed to science, rigor, innovation and closeness with our clients and partners for 40 years, with our sights set on improving the experience of the patient or end user. This combination has allowed us to grow sustainably, with a global vision but rooted in our values: excellence, passion, commitment and innovation.We have built a solid business model, which prioritizes control of the entire value chain - from research and design to production, all in our facilities in Viladecans -, and which reinvests more than 40% of profits in R&D&I each year. This philosophy allows us to launch effective and differential solutions with a clear focus: to provide real value to professionals and, therefore, to the patient.The result is a company that today is present in more than 100 countries, with double-digit growth, a turnover that exceeded 82 million euros in 2024 and a workforce of nearly 300 people. The latter is expected to double in the coming years, driven in large part by our largest project to date: the mesoestetic® Campus, a 42 million euro infrastructure that marks the beginning of a new stage for us. But if there is something that truly defines our success, it is the team that makes it possible every day, inside and outside our borders. They are the real engine of mesoestetic®. What is mesoestetic's long-term vision today as a global aesthetic medicine company?Our vision is clear: we want to lead the future of aesthetic medicine globally from a position of scientific excellence, with a model of constant, sustainable innovation and with a real impact on people. We aspire to become the international benchmark that defines the new standards of the sector, promoting state-of-the-art treatments that combine science, technology and measurable results, without renouncing ethics or clinical rigor.We are building a company designed for the next 40 years. Our commitment focuses on the development of comprehensive, effective, safe and highly differentiated treatments in strategic areas such as depigmentation - where we are leaders -, anti-aging, gynecoesthetics and body remodeling, among others. What role does the manufacture of own active ingredients play within mesoestetic's business model?Developing and manufacturing our own active ingredients not only differentiates us, but also allows us to offer more effective, safer solutions adapted to each clinical need. It is a strategic decision that stems from our commitment to scientific excellence and to the professional.This capacity gives us total control over the quality, efficacy and traceability of each product, but it goes far beyond control: it allows us to innovate from the origin, formulate exclusive and scientifically endorsed solutions, designed to maximize real results in each indication.At mesoestetic® we firmly believe in vertical integration as a guarantee of coherence and excellence. We research, design, formulate, manufacture and test in our facilities in Viladecans, including the synthesis of key ingredients. This model gives us agility, autonomy and consistency throughout the value chain.In addition, own manufacturing reinforces our commitment to constant reinvestment in R&D&I —more than 40% of annual profits— and allows us to continue leading areas such as depigmentation, where we work with our own molecules and unique protocols that have positioned us as global leaders. All this is backed by a solid portfolio of patents that protects and certifies our scientific advances.In short, we do not understand leadership without our own science. Developing it from within is what allows us to be —and remain— at the forefront of aesthetic medicine, offering truly transformative solutions. What percentage of the business currently represents the professional channel vs. the end consumer?Our business model is based on a 360º vision that integrates professional treatment in consultation or cabin with home use as an essential complement. In this sense, the professional channel - whether aesthetic or medical - remains the backbone of our activity. Our first client is the center.Currently, we could say that 50% of the business corresponds to the professional channel (medical-aesthetic clinics and aesthetic centers), and the other 50% to the home channel. A very significant part of the products for home use is considered a natural extension of the treatment previously performed in the clinic or cabin, designed to enhance, maintain and optimize the results over time.Beyond the individual weight of each channel, what is really important is the synergy between them: we seek to generate comprehensive solutions that accompany the professional from diagnosis to follow-up, and that improve the patient's experience and results over time. How does mesoestetic balance scientific identity with an attractive value proposition for the market?Our starting point is always science. As a pharmaceutical laboratory, the basis of everything we do is scientific rigor, clinical research and patient safety. But we are also very aware that in order to provide real value to the market we must translate that science into accessible, differential and commercially competitive solutions. That is where our balance lies: in combining scientific excellence with visible efficacy, careful user experience and transformative results.For this reason, at mesoestetic® we do not only develop products, but comprehensive treatments designed to cover real needs of the professional and the patient. From solid research we formulate effective solutions. But in addition to clinical efficacy, we take care of the design, sensoriality, training for the professional and after-sales support. It is not just about what you offer, but how you do it. That is why we work each launch in a transversal way, from the scientific concept to the user experience, also integrating digital tools, training materials and technical support.This balance between science, efficacy and value proposition is what has allowed us to position ourselves as a benchmark brand, not only in the aesthetic and medical-aesthetic field, but also in the trust of the professional and the end patient. Which international markets have been the most strategic for mesoestetic in the last 5 years and why?In recent years we have strengthened our international presence in key markets such as Europe - especially Iberia, France, Benelux and Italy -. China has consolidated itself as a strategic market due to its high potential, while the Middle East is managed from our Dubai subsidiary, key to growth in the region. Also noteworthy are Poland, where we opened a subsidiary in 2020, as well as Australia, the United States and Colombia, markets with great projection and high demand for aesthetic and medical-aesthetic solutions.All of them are considered natural markets for mesoestetic®, since they share a deeply rooted aesthetic culture, in which our products and treatments adapt perfectly to the idiosyncrasy of each of them. How do you adapt your product portfolio to the regulatory and cultural particularities of each country?As a pharmaceutical laboratory with a global presence, we have a multidisciplinary team that integrates experts in regulation, marketing, R&D and business development to ensure that each solution complies with the regulatory requirements of each country and, at the same time, responds to the real needs of local professionals and patients.From a regulatory point of view, we continuously monitor the regulatory evolution in each market, which allows us to anticipate and adapt both the formulation and the registration and labeling processes. This has allowed us to successfully introduce products in highly demanding markets such as China, the United States, Australia and Brazil.Regarding cultural particularities, we actively listen to our partners and professionals in each region to understand their preferences, application protocols, consumption habits and clinical expectations. This active listening translates into a dynamic portfolio, which not only meets the most demanding scientific standards, but also adapts to the aesthetic codes, care routines and perception of well-being in each country. What has been the evolution of turnover in the last three years? How much does the international market represent?The evolution of mesoestetic®'s turnover in the last three years has been very positive, with sustained double-digit growth. In 2022, the company reached 63.5 million euros, which represented an increase of 35% compared to the previous year. A year later, in 2023, it once again surpassed its own records with 67.8 million, reaffirming its solidity with an advance of 6.7%. But it was in 2024 when mesoestetic® reached its highest historical level: 82.1 million euros of turnover and a growth of 22%.This ascending, sustained and ambitious trajectory is the result of a firm strategy based on scientific innovation and international expansion. An evolution that is not only measured in figures, but in the ability to project a global vision with a local soul. What ingredients or assets are emerging as the most promising for the coming years?Aesthetic medicine and aesthetics are moving towards a new era where efficacy, safety and personalization go hand in hand with the most advanced science. In this context, from mesoestetic® we identify several lines of research that will mark the future of the sector.On the one hand, new generation assets with epigenetic action are emerging, capable of modulating gene expression without altering the DNA sequence. These ingredients open the door to ultra-personalized treatments, with a profound impact on key processes such as skin aging, inflammation or pigmentation.Biomimetic peptides are also gaining strength, due to their ability to replicate natural biological mechanisms and stimulate specific cellular functions, such as collagen synthesis or epidermal renewal. Added to this is the growing interest in growth factors, exosomes and other molecules derived from advanced biotechnology, with great potential in regenerative medicine.At mesoestetic® we are also investigating ingredients capable of offering a controlled and targeted release of assets, which improves their bioavailability and reduces side effects. This technology is especially relevant in high-performance formulations for medical-aesthetic use.Finally, the synergistic combination of cross-linked hyaluronic acid with biostimulating molecules is consolidated as one of the most promising bets in the field of dermal fillers. An example of this is mesofiller® nexha, an innovation that I had been imagining for some time and that I proposed to the team with the conviction that it could mark a before and after. The result is a solution that combines a volumizing effect with a powerful biostimulating action, raising the standards in the field of dermal fillers.These trends are not only promises, but scientific realities in which we are already working to transform aesthetic care into an even more effective, safe and advanced experience. What product categories currently make up the division of solutions for aesthetic medicine and which is the most demanded? Is hyaluronic acid still the 'king' of aesthetic medicine?Aesthetic medicine and aesthetics are moving towards a new era where efficacy, safety and personalization go hand in hand with the most advanced science. In this context, from mesoestetic® we identify several lines of research that will mark the future of the sector.On the one hand, latest generation assets with epigenetic action are emerging, capable of modulating gene expression without altering the DNA sequence. These ingredients open the door to ultra-personalized treatments, with a profound impact on key processes such as skin aging, inflammation or pigmentation. At mesoestetic®, we have been researching epigenetics for more than 15 years, laying the foundations for solutions that address the molecular origin of multiple aesthetic alterations.Biomimetic peptides are also gaining strength, due to their ability to replicate natural biological mechanisms and stimulate specific cellular functions, such as collagen synthesis or epidermal renewal. Added to this is the growing interest in growth factors, exosomes and other molecules derived from advanced biotechnology, with great potential in the field of regenerative medicine and tissue repair.A particularly promising line of development is the use of polynucleotides (PDRN), DNA fragments of natural origin with potent regenerative, anti-inflammatory and biostimulating properties. Thanks to its ability to activate specific cellular receptors, PDRN promotes tissue repair and dermal regeneration, being a key ally in advanced medical-aesthetic treatments.At mesoestetic® we are also investigating intelligent encapsulation technologies capable of offering a controlled and targeted release of assets. These solutions allow to vehiculate the ingredients to the desired therapeutic target, maximizing their efficacy and protecting the active ingredient against premature degradation. This technology is especially relevant in high-performance formulations intended for medical-aesthetic treatments where precision is key.Finally, the synergistic combination of cross-linked hyaluronic acid with biostimulating molecules is consolidated as one of the most promising bets in the field of dermal fillers. What biotechnological advances are marking mesoestetic's pipeline in the next 3 to 5 years?We are incorporating latest generation assets such as exosomes, stem cells of plant origin and biomaterials - such as hyaluronic acid -, which stand out for their high efficacy in regeneration, tissue repair and biostimulation processes.Thanks to sustainable production processes of biotechnology, we obtain these assets with an excellent efficacy profile and great versatility for multiple uses and indications. Many of them are already part of our current formulations, and we will continue to integrate them through a rigorous selection of biotechnological active ingredients, based on their efficacy, safety and ability to offer the clinical results that our professionals expect. What are the company's next steps?We are in one of the most exciting moments in our history. In the midst of our 40th anniversary, we are beginning a new stage marked by the consolidation of our international growth model and a strong investment in infrastructure, innovation and talent. The main project of this new cycle is the mesoestetic® Campus: a historical investment of 42 million euros financed with own resources, which represents the biggest step forward we have taken as a company.
