Reig Jofre, the pharmaceutical laboratory, has announced today the appointment of Laura Martí as new CFO of the company.
The pharmaceutical company thus reaffirms its commitment to consolidate its presence and positioning of the company in the stock market, where it operates since 2015 after its merger with Natraceutical.
Laura Martí holds a degree in Business Administration and has completed an international program in Business Administration at Clemson University in South Carolina, USA. She also holds an MBA from the IESE Business School in Barcelona.
In terms of his professional career, he has spent more than 20 years leading the financial management of the multinational corporation General Electric. Martí has experience in sectors such as energy and healthcare and in locations such as the United States, Switzerland, France, the United Kingdom, Italy, Brazil and Mexico.
In the last quarter, Reig Jofre achieved 237 million euros in sales, 22% more than in previous quarters of the year. This increase in sales was led by a notable rise in the Specialty Pharmacare Division and higher capacity utilisation at the new Barcelona plant. Its Consumer Healthcare brand, the consumer products division with the Forte Pharma brand, and OTC products in the Spanish, French and Belgian markets, grew by 11%.
