Eugenia de la Torriente incorporates to Puig like Director of Communication

She leaves her position as Deputy Director in El País since January 2021

The one who was director of Vogue Spain between 2017 and 2020, enters the world of cosmetics by the hand of 'Puig' after finishing her professional career in the newspaper 'El País'. It incorporated in this means of communication in January of 2021, and the adventure lasted until 30 September 2022.

Currently, since October 1, she is part of the Spanish multinational dedicated to perfumery and fashion, 'Puig', in the position of Director of Communication. De la Torriente has a dilated experience in the world of media: she has passed through Claire, Elle Magazine, Localia TV and and was named section chief and editor-in-chief of  of El País Weekly. Therefore, previously, between the years 2014 and 2017, she assumed the direction of Harper's Bazaar.

The executive president of 'Puig', Marc Puig, has praised the experience of Eugenia in the field of the media through an press release of the company: "Eugenia contributes 24 years of experience in journalism, creation of image, strategy and communication, as well as a high capacity for the management of teams and the leadership of creative projects with a focus of business in all type of platforms and channels."

The group Puig, a new professional challenge

By his part, Eugenia of the Torriente has showed excited by this new challenge in his professional career: "I'm very proud to join me to a familiar project that from does more than 100 years prevails the creativity and the responsibility." She also took the opportunity to value the learning and the habit that she has purchased during this year and half in 'El País': "I Have been much more in contact with the sections of the day in day out and this has helped me to understand better the newspaper in his whole. From commissioning me of the newspaper some Sundays, to the daily meetings, going through the publishing coordination of the events... It has been a very valuable professional exercise."
