The multinational fragrance house Eurofragance presents the trends that will inspire the world of fine perfumery this winter, where color, textures, and sensory richness guide creativity. From the warmth of the winter sunset to the energy of lacquered tones and the comfort of toasted nuances, the proposals Winter Sunset, Statement Red, and Dust Brown emerge from the aesthetic characteristic of these months, offering versatile and memorable creations.

The company's creative team has identified three key trends that began to take shape in autumn and will set the direction for perfumery throughout the winter. Each of them has its own micro-trends, in which chromatic nuances and tactile sensations are the protagonists.

'Winter Sunset': Sweetness That Envelops the Cold

At the start of the coldest season, Winter Sunset evokes the golden glow of sunsets and the characteristic dim light of these days. Lactic or milky facets and ripe fruits emerge, enveloped in tropical notes, sustained by silky woods and amber accords that comfort without being heavy.

In line with the trend towards gourmand compositions, the Banana & Durian note evolves towards emblematic tropical profiles, contributing a creamy sweetness and hints of ultra-ripe fruits. Present in soft musks, it introduces spicy touches and a refined woody base.

On the other hand, the micro-trend of Tobacco follows, in which tobacco notes return with force, lending a sophisticated touch to winter perfumery. Its smoky and sweet warmth blends nostalgia with a contemporary, gender-neutral approach, and pairs perfectly with alcoholic and spicy nuances.

‘Statement Red’: Red, a Symbol of Energy and Sophistication

Red becomes a style statement. Shiny lacquers, vinyl lips, and carmine satin translate to the olfactory palette with Statement Red, through intense red fruits, luminous spices with a crystallized saffron effect that adds transparency

Within this trend, we have Pitaya & Red Fruits, in which the color red merges with fruits such as raspberry, strawberry, and pomegranate, along with pink spices and clean woods, generating a sensation that balances freshness and depth.

The cherry, currently a star in beauty and perfumery, transforms into what we call Lacquer Cherry when the lacquer imagery is added, transporting us to a nocturnal and sensual atmosphere, achieving a note with almond, balsamic, and amber nuances, enhanced by textured vanillas and satiny cedars.

‘Dust Brown’: The Color of the Season

This winter, brown is consolidating itself as a new standard of elegance. Inspired by earth and leather, it drives a wave of *gourmand* creations with nuts, honeyed resins, and chocolate notes.

Following the rise of toasted notes like hazelnut or pistachio, a new nut is entering the scene: roasted chestnut, giving rise to the microtrend Chestnuts & Nuts. Chestnut and nutty accords are a natural fit for the autumn-winter season, evoking seasonal rituals, festivities, and cozy, warm winter streets. Beyond nostalgia, they bring richness and texture, adding complexity to gourmand notes and creating an ideal bridge between indulgence and sophistication

The influence of Middle Eastern sweets and natural sweeteners is reflected in the combination of brown sugar and dates, which originates the micro-trend Brown Sugar & Dates: a blend of molasses, dark caramel, and juicy dried fruits, composing an opulent and refined gourmand. The union with golden resins, dark vanillas, and amber woods provides an enveloping trail, ideal for the coldest nights.

Simona Gentili, Marketing Manager Fine Fragrance at Eurofragance, explains: "These trends reflect what we observe in fashion and lifestyle, where summer extends with intense colors that contrast with the darker, earthier tones of winter. We are talking about captivating textures that allow us to reinvent the sensory narrative of the season, giving way to more sophisticated creations with Middle Eastern influences."
