The Spanish company INdermal has presented Vegan HDS Core Repair, a new active ingredient for hair care designed to restore hydration balance from within the hair fiber. The innovation was unveiled during the latest edition of in-cosmetics Global.
Unlike treatments that primarily act on the hair's surface, Vegan HDS Core Repair addresses problems such as frizz, roughness, and lack of softness from their origin: internal dehydration of the fiber. To do this, it employs a targeted delivery system capable of adhering to the hair and transporting active ingredients to the cortex and medulla, key areas for maintaining healthy hair behavior.
The technology combines low molecular weight hyaluronic acid with fermented rice extract encapsulated in a transport system that favors its penetration into the core of the fiber. According to the company, this functional hydration contributes to improving the uniformity of the hair structure, providing greater softness, control, and manageability with continued use.
The results of tests conducted over 28 days show that 77% of participants perceived more hydrated hair, while 73% observed a reduction in frizz and an improvement in softness. The same percentage stated that their hair looked healthier after the treatment.
INdermal emphasizes that Vegan HDS Core Repair does not seek to create an immediate cosmetic effect through superficial coatings, but rather to promote functional recovery based on deep hydration of the fiber. With this approach, the company aims to offer formulators a new alternative to improve the appearance and behavior of hair without resorting to traditional structural repair mechanisms.
