The Impag Group, with more than 100 years of experience in the distribution of raw materials for the Personal Care sector, presents its new formulation concept 'Oil inclusive'.
With this new concept, Impag wants to address questions such as: What do we understand by oils in the cosmetics world, what types are there and how can we achieve high performance and a pleasant feel, and do they meet today's requirements in terms of sustainability and natural origin?
Their formulation laboratory, where they develop cosmetic forms with the ingredients in their portfolio, proposes a range of products within the 'Oil inclusive' concept as new ways to care for, brighten and protect the skin.
With completely different formulations, they want to demonstrate the multitude of ways of working with vegetable oils, esters, emollients and much more. They illustrate technical challenges, such as the washing behaviour and cleansing power of oils, the solubility of organic sunscreens and working methods with active ingredients.
Cristina Matamoros and Victoria Gálvez, heads of the Persona & Home Care division at Impag Iberia, comment that "this new concept, which follows current trends in the cosmetics market, will serve as a guide to generate new formulations with different approaches to conventional ones, providing support and accompaniment in the development of its customers".
