Complife has always had a strong drive for innovation. And in this case, it has let it be seen with the presentation of a new testing method.  This strategy of being at the forefront of innovation in conjunction with a cross-service offering has been implemented through a specialisation path aimed at implementing the structures and, consequently, the expertise and service umbrella, in order to support the customer in an even more comprehensive way.

Complife's Nutratech laboratories in Rende, within the University of Calabria, are part of this specialisation project. In these laboratories, Complife is able to propose increasingly innovative testing methods thanks to the most advanced instrumentation.

Cytokine array

  • This test, unlike other colorimetric assays (ELISA) or qualitative analyses (immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence) which analyse the expression of one or a few components, provides information on the modulation of the entire inflammatory pathway; this allows a complete characterisation of the soothing/anti-inflammatory activity of the tested product;

  • Obtaining a large number of results in a relatively short time and at low cost.

  • This type of test is used in cosmetics and nutraceuticals to assess the anti-inflammatory/soothing efficacy of a cosmetic or food supplement. In the case of medical devices, it is useful if you want to confirm that a medical device has a non-pharmacological, immunological or metabolic mode of action.
