On 3 April, Vogue broke the exclusive news of the launch of a new fragrance from the Italian luxury house Gucci. The Gucci brand has launched a new fragrance called "Where My Heart Beats", which is inspired by a novel by Susanna Tamaro. This fragrance is very subtle and attractive, and has been produced following an innovative and sustainable process that reduces the consumption of water and agricultural land and is made with 100% carbon alcohol.  It is the first to be made with alcohol sourced from 100% recycled carbon emissions, and this is a world first, according to luxury manufacturer Coty, which holds the beauty licence for Gucci, owned by Kering, as explained in the piece by Vogue.

It is also part of a customisable collection called The Alchemist's Garden, which allows you to mix and match scents to create different effects.

The fragrance is unisex and has notes of violet leaf, peony and white musk. The bottle is decorated with a butterfly, representing the delicacy and beauty of the fragrance.

The launch is undoubtedly a significant and relevant milestone for the beauty industry, which has been examining its supply chains and continues to try to innovate in creating products that generate fewer emissions, and is part of a customisable collection called The Alchemist's Garden, which allows you to mix and match scents to create different effects.
