Lush offers a range of products on World Oceans Day

On World Oceans Day (8 June), Lush, a fresh, handmade cosmetics brand with a commitment to sustainability and care for the planet, offers a selection of products that are free of microplastics and full of fresh, natural ingredients from the ocean.

These products are microplastic-free and contain fresh, natural ingredients sourced from the ocean.

  • Seanik. Solid shampoo. This volumising shampoo contains Irish moss gel, extracted from red algae, protein-rich Japanese nori seaweed and fine sea salt to give hair strength. Lemon adds shine and essential oils of mimosa, jasmine and orange blossom perfume the hair.
  • Ocean Salt. Facial and body scrub. A scrub based on sea salt hand-picked in the Algarve (Portugal), grapefruit infusion and limes macerated in vodka. Sea salt is rich in minerals and is perfect for removing dead skin cells. Contains avocado butter, coconut oil and seaweed absolute to keep skin silky, smooth and toned.
  • BB Seaweed. Ultra-fresh face mask. An ultra-fresh, natural and soothing mask that has it all: fresh seaweed, ground almonds and rose and aloe vera absolute. Seaweed from Poole Harbour is added fresh to this formula.
  • Aqua Marina. Facial cleanser. A cleanser rich in seaweed and calamine. Contains two types of seaweed (Irish moss gel and nori seaweed) and fine sea salt to cleanse, tone and refresh.
  • It was Vegetable. A soap with exfoliating sea salt, nutrient-packed arame algae and antiseptic lavender oil to soothe the skin.
