On the 8th of June the Beauty Business School and the Beauty Cluster will gather at the Aticco Bogatell, in Barcelona, all professionals of the beauty industry with an interest in people management and human resources. After exchanging ideas and opinions with some members of the Beauty Cluster, it was detected that the Spanish cosmetics and beauty sector lacks the presence of a community that deals with and addresses issues related to HR or people departments. As a result of this need, HR Beauty Forum was created with the aim of creating meetings that talk about real challenges of companies and that encourage organisations that are part of the beauty ecosystem to make it a place where candidates want to belong.
This event is the only industry-wide meeting organised to focus on topics and issues that HR departments and team leaders are routinely concerned about. The first edition of the HR Beauty | People in Beauty Forum was held on 16 March 2022, with the participation of companies such as Quadpack, Bella Aurora, Martiderm and Lluch.
On this occasion, the verticals that will be discussed during the event, which will be held from 9:00 to 15:30, are related to digitalisation as an attribute focused on leadership in a digital environment, the selection and attraction of technical profiles, as well as the incorporation of young talent. Mental health and happiness in organisations will also have their place in this second Human Resources Forum and the importance of creating a corporate culture from the perspective of integration and accessibility.
The programme includes up to 6 presentations that will address the above points, and of course, Artificial Intelligence and its future application, will also have a place in a day with an atmosphere conducive to networking and that will allow attendees to strengthen their knowledge from the exchange of experiences and skills.
This second edition will also serve to officially launch the e-learning platform. The presentation to those attending the event will be made by the director of the Beauty Business School, Melissa Torres, who will be responsible for explaining all the steps that this project has followed to become a reality.
