5,000 Murcian students will benefit from Iberchem's ROOTS program

The fragrance-producing company has donated more than 200 computer equipment to public schools in the Region of Murcia

Iberchem presents his program ROOTS

Iberchem, with the aim to support the education and reduce the brecha digital in the autonomous community where founded, has donated a total of 200 computer teams in different public schools of Murcia.

This action engloba in his program ROOTS, "Bridging The Digital Divides" and wants to facilitate the access of the smallest to the new technologies and that these, help them to purchase knowledges. The new program goes on line with the aim that pursues the Program of Corporate Social Responsibility (RSC) of the company to boost a multidisciplinary education, independently of the social class.

Although right now it has caracter national, of back way, wants to extend to the different subsidiaries of the countries in which it is present the company: Mexico, Thailand, France, among others. The company is present in a total of 25 countries.

Guillaume Audy, director of Sustainability in Iberchem, has attended of face-to-face way to some of the centres that have been beneficiarios of the donations, and has explained that the technology, nowadays, plays a fundamental paper in the educational sector: "The circumstances lived in these two last years, motivated by the sanitary crisis of the COVID-19, have left evidence of the relation between what sucede and the changes to make in the educational sector. It is a reality that include the technology in the educational centres has generated profits for the process of education-learning in the educational system to all the levels, and at the same time, ensure that a greater number of students have access to computer and digital resources."
