Quadpack, the manufacturer of packaging cosmetic, inaugurated the past month of October a new centre of decoration of packaging in Germany. This new plant of production was a centre of manufacture of containers airless and with the entrance of Quadpack, the industrial unit has now 900 square metres and 5 lines of decoration of high capacity and 11 assembly machines, although the aim that has given to know the company is to add 3 machines and arrive to the 10 lines of decoration.
The company has invested around one million euros in these installations in addition to a system of air-conditioning and several filters of air to create the optimum conditions to execute the operations of decoration. Regarding personnel, in this new ship work 36 skilled workers in technicians of decoration. Between these technicians of decoration work with the technicians thermoengraving, thermoengraving with total coverage, tampography, metallization, color correlation and laser engraving are expected to add a few more.
As it has explained in the press release Ernesto Clara, Head of Industrial Process of Quadpack has explained that this movement is thanks to the favourable evolution of the company "the new centre of decoration positions the plant of Kierspe like European leader in manufacture and sustainable decoration. Our increasing capacity of the decoration allows us bring home a service that was externalized previously. When doing it, will be able to accelerate the terms of delivery and reduce the footprint of carbon of our solutions 'Made in Europe'."
From Quadpack indicate that with this plant in Germany expect to reduce in 50% of average the terms of delivery of the containers finish, and estimate that this will suppose a saving of 170 tonnes of broadcasts of CO2 to the year.
This operation has taken like example to the plant of Dallas, in Texas, in which it also centres his activity in the decoration.
