L'Oréal purchases the American 'Skinbetter Science'

The figure of the agreement desconoce but will be effective in the last quarter of 2022

The cosmetic giant French L'Oréal, will sign soon an agreement to formalise the acquisition of the American mark devoted to the care of the skin, 'Skinbetter'. This mark administered and managed by professionals of the sanitary sector, was created in 2016 by Jonah Shacknai, Justin Smith and Seth Rodner under the idea to create a new mark devoted to the care of the skin for doctors, nurses, beauticians and surgeons. 'Skinbetter Science' Puts a special emphasis in the anti-aging of the skin, the moisturizing, exfoliation and solar protection.

The value of the operation has not been revealed still by any of the two parts involved, but from L'Oréal explain that it treats of a reinforcement that supposes an increase of the weight of the innovation and the science in the group: "The acquisition of Skinbetter Science will complement perfectly the wallet of the division of Active Cosmetic and will contribute strongly to the mission that always have had: promote the health and the beauty through the science and the innovation. I am convinced that this American mark of fast growth offers an immense international potential" explains Myriam Cohen-Welgryn, president of the Active Cosmetic division of the group L'Oréal.

This acquisition will finalise at the beginning of the last quarter of 2022. The company founded in 2016, registered more than 90 million on sale dollars in the last fiscal year.
