Aesop in the crosshairs of L'Oréal, LVMH and Shiseido

Aesop wants to reduce its structure and could estimate its sale at up to 2,000 million dollars

As a point on portals specialised in fashion news, such as Fashion Network or Modaes, brands like L'Oréal, Shiseido, or LVMH would have interested in the purchase of the cosmetic company that it is property of Nature.

The press agency Bloomberg, explained the past 30 January, that LVMH and L'Oréal would be interested in obtaining shares in Aesop, to the equal that Shiseido. The company of cosmetic luxury Aesop, belongs to the Brazilian group Nature and is working in a conjoint way with the Bank of America and Morgan Stanley, studying the available possibilities of business from the past year.

All the figures offered by Bloomberg are from sources that find near to the case, but the marks involved decline to present data with regard to this subject. Although in the month of December, between the possible buyers of participations of Aesop found also L'Occitane and the bottom of investments CVC, now appear in scene L'Oréal and LVMH, and the only that keeps of the three previous is Shiseido.

Aesop actually possesses more than 375 points of sale around the world, and has 275 boutiques, in addition to being a brand of natural cosmetics with certification B Corp.

As it has converted previously in 'Next In Beauty', the group Nature finds a change of strategy in which it wants to simplify its structure. The companies of the group have seen the effects of inflation in its economic results, although it is true, that the sales of Nature increased 8% in the markets Spanish Americans, especially in Argentina and Colombia.
