What if we helped the skin on your face get its own workout? Do you know the secret to fit skin through biotechnology?

It is now possible to redefine your facial care by boosting your skin's workout with cosmetics through sustainable plant biotechnology.

Vytrus Biotech will present a new plant-based strategy at in-cosmetics Global that aims to strengthen and rejuvenate your skin by mimicking the natural benefits of exercise.

The biotech company has explored the fascinating link between physical activity and skin health, asking whether the face, like the body, could be "exercised" to improve appearance and vitality.

We all know that sport transforms our bodies, shaping muscles and rejuvenating our health, improving our well-being as we age. Imagine being able to get similar benefits for your skin, using only cosmetic products.

Vytrus has developed an innovative cosmetic active that revolutionises skin care with the "Skin-Fit" concept based on sustainable plant biotechnology. This concept emulates an exercise routine on a cellular level.

Looking for the latest beauty trends and inspiration for your formulations? Welcome to a new era of skincare, where your skin benefits from a "workout" routine.

This new category of biotech active offers cosmetic formulators new ways to promote well-ageing. Ideal for products intended for complete face and body care, specially formulated to complement sport and exercise activities. Versatile for both day and night treatments and suitable for all ages, this cosmetic active provides a sustainable alternative based on plant biotechnology.

The study of the skin microbiota and its role in the health of our skin and hair system has taken centre stage in many of the cosmetic innovations of recent years.

Vytrus Biotech started 10 years ago to research in the field of skin microbiota and promulgated breakthroughs in cosmetic science. The first discovery was the possibility of modulating bacterial communication, respecting bacteria, and inhibiting bacterial virulence and thus treating both acne-prone skin (Quora Noni™) and body odour (Deobiome Noni™) caused by bacteria.

Later, Vytrus unveiled the Microbiota-Skin-Brain relationship, demonstrating with the active Kannabia Sense™ the ability of microorganisms to influence the regulation of skin hormones, such as oxytocin, and their impact on emotional well-being.

Recently, Vytrus focused on the role of microbiota in the skin ageing process, developing the Quora Noni™ biomics active that showed how we can achieve younger looking skin by rejuvenating the skin microbiota.

The biotech company now questioned: what is the relationship between microbiota and solar radiation?

Vytrus presents at in-cosmetics Global a new plant-based strategy for...

The new active, designated Photobiome (The fotoprotector of the microbiota), opens the door to a new category of Microbial Antioxidants by helping our skin's microbiota to photoprotect itself. The active protects and nourishes the bacteria, modulating the release of its own natural photo-defence molecules to improve the signs of the skin's photo-ageing process.
