Many already will have heard to speak already about this new product totally ecological, already was by direct visits or emails sent, but really…

In what consists and why have launched us with this new project?

Our planet needs it! Everything begins with a visit that do to Toni Parera, of the agency Innou, the one who knows it well because it already is developing projects with this material from does time. From VPV does time that are working, as you know, with sustainable materials and this new solution really fit in our portfolio.

Our planet is a closed system in which everything we make sooner or later ends up in nature. By 2020 the weight of the anthropogenic mass (mass of what is manufactured by humanity) already exceeded that of the biomass (mass of all living beings), and most of all those things that we have produced will remain for hundreds, if not thousands of years, far exceeding the time of use for which they were intended.

A worry that turned into aim for the couple formed by Joseán Vilar and Silvana Catazine; founders of Naifactory Lab, a study of design of sustainable solutions and development of biomaterials for the circular economy. Toni Parera, that does in occasions of ambassador of the brand, explains to us what was the motivation to carry out Reolivar®: "The way in that Naifactory Lab has focused the problem centres in the matter of which are done the things, that is to say, his composition, and the solution comes through the development of new versatile materials, resistant and biodegradable with which can manufacture able objects to incorporate to the natural cycle of the matter when arriving at the end of his useful life. A new concept of material nobility oriented to the future that put to disposal of creative sectors as ephemeral architecture, window dressing, product design, or communication that seek a positive impact on the environment and society through innovative and sustainable solutions" comments Toni from his study in Barcelona.

Pieces that will disappear without leaving trace when they arrive at the end of his use, as the user has the power of decision on when the product has to come to an end without depending on third so that the matter recycle or biodegrade.

The aim is to raise public awareness of the impact of the objects they acquire by providing a real and tangible solution that nourishes their commitment and responsibility, making them participants in change.

When consuming a product done with Reolivar® is contributing to the upcycling of resources usually deleted and totally renewable, and with this to promote the circular economy like model for the society.

Reolivar® uses like main main raw material olive bone, abundant and local resource used commonly like fuel for stoves. When avoiding burns it reduces the broadcast of CO2 and takes advantage of a "wood" that comes of gift in each harvest without damaging any tree: virgin wood extra.

All the ingredients of Reolivar® are totally organic and biodegradable in natural conditions, and with them have developed two types of compounds: Reolivar® Tierra, with wooden appearance and touch of ceramics, and Reolivar® Air, more seemed to the glass or the plastic with which can produce light and transparent pieces, with different colours and textures.
