The beauty sector continues to move towards more sustainable manufacturing models, and IZZON Lab has just collected one of the awards that corroborate this. The company specialized in the development and manufacturing of beauty and personal care products (CMO) has won Bronze in the "Best Company Committed to Sustainability" category of the VPC Green Beauty Awards 2026, presented this Tuesday in Barcelona.
Sustainability from the factory, not just a facade
What distinguishes IZZON Lab, according to the company itself, is that sustainability is not applied as a final layer over the production process, but is decided from the first formula sketch. Its co-creation model connects the client brand's teams with its own from conceptualization, through formulation, technical development, production, packaging, and logistics, all within the same structure.
"Our ambition is to continue growing alongside our clients, combining innovation, sustainability, and industrial capacity to consolidate ourselves as a reference partner for major beauty brands," states Marc Gómez, CEO of the company.
Its numbers back up the discourse
Behind the message there is real industrial muscle, all made in Spain:

- Capacity to manufacture more than 600 million units per year
- Hub in Madrid, with plants in San Fernando de Henares and Torrejón de Ardoz (the latter specialized in fragrances)

A catalog of seals that endorses the commitment
IZZON Lab adds to this award a package of certifications that includes ISO 14001, ISO 50001, Zero Waste, RSPO, and FSC, in addition to the recent EcoVadis Silver medal, which places it among the top 15% of companies best rated by this platform globally. In terms of quality, it also holds the IFS HPC certification.
"Integrating sustainability into innovation requires taking into account, from the beginning, how a product is developed and how it will be manufactured," explains Miguel Ayora, general director of Quality, R&D&I, and Environment for the firm, who emphasizes the role of multicultural Engineering and R&D teams in the transition from laboratory to large-scale production.
