For the second year in a row, Beiersdorf has been awarded the CDP's "Triple A" certification for its sustainability work. The German company has also made it onto the "Triple A List" of companies with best practices in addressing environmental impacts throughout their value chains.

Vicent Warnery, CEO of the company, indicated that they are proud to have been recognised again with this rating: "This reaffirms the great efforts to improve the environmental performance of the product portfolio and to decarbonise the business as a whole. It is a way of demonstrating our conviction to drive the sustainable transformation of the industry," Warnery explained in a press release issued by the personal care and pharmaceutical company.

The certification is awarded by CDP which evaluates and examines companies' environmental reporting.

Gitta Neufang, Senior Vice President Global Research and Development at Beiersdorf AG, explained that the company continues to research to transform iconic skin care products with more sustainable ingredients and packaging solutions to reduce the carbon footprint.
