OpenAI takes another step with ChatGPT. The artificial intelligence company has announced that it is preparing the launch of ChatGPT Health, a new platform, similar to ChatGPT, but specialized in offering solutions to users for health-related queries.

According to the company, ChatGPT Health is an experience that will serve to "securely integrate medical information with ChatGPT's intelligence, to have more information, confidence, and preparedness when taking care of one's health".

As some media outlets indicate, 72% of doctors already use artificial intelligence to improve their ability to diagnose their patients. On the other hand, OpenAI points out that health is one of the most common topics and that around 230 million people worldwide have asked questions about health and well-being each week.

This new release will also be able to sync with other mobile health apps like Apple Health, Function, or MyFitnessPal so that ChatGPT can interpret recent results and tests even more accurately and offer better guidance on diets or lifestyle.

However, OpenAI points out that ChatGPT Health is not a replacement for professionals, nor should it be substituted for medical assistance, but rather it is a tool that will help answer everyday questions and identify patterns over time.

It is currently being tested with a small group of users to improve the experience and has been developed in collaboration with medical professionals from around the world to offer clear and useful information, with over 260 healthcare professionals from 60 different countries and more than a dozen specialties involved.

Within ChatPT Health, functionalities will be integrated where clinical history, health and fitness data, blood test results, nutritional suggestions, nutrition advice, and training suggestions can be added.
