The Carinsa Group is committed to multi-sector innovation, especially through its CARINCAP encapsulation technology platform. Through this project, it enters the cosmetics sector with innovation at the forefront of science and technology worldwide.

Now, as the company explained, Carinsa is at the forefront of a disruptive project in the cosmetics sector, which has been chosen in the fourth call of the Eurostars a 3 programme through the CDTI International Intercompany Innovation action, run by the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities.

The new project, EMBOLDEN, is led by Carinsa's Perfumery Division and has the participation of the Korean company The Happy Tree, a leading company in ecological cosmetics in Korea, and also with the support of the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology KAIST, one of the leading universities in science and technology in the Asian country.

EMBOLDEN is a project that introduces a new delivery system for active ingredients through advanced microencapsulation techniques, targeting each ingredient to the appropriate stratum of the skin. These functional ingredients address issues associated with the visible signs of skin ageing such as wrinkles, lack of hydration and UV protection.

The project aims to meet the requirements of an increasingly demanding market in terms of performance, efficiency and sustainability. EMBOLDEN is aligned with the fundamental axes and pillars of sustainability and health of the Alberto Martínez Ortega Institute.
