Cosmo International Fragrances was awarded at the Barcelona Perfumery Awards gala during the Barcelona Perfumery Congress held last November at La Farga in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat.
The fragrance company won the award for Best Natural Ingredient for Fragrances for its exclusive Inca Myrtle Essence. This essence comes from the Cusco region of Peru and was created through an exclusive and sustainable partnership with local Quechua women and is being used for the first time in the world of perfumery.
As the company explains, the development of the Inca Myrtle Essence involved a collaborative effort between COSMO's Natural Ingredients teams in Peru and France and the Quechua Women's Association. Cosmo therefore wishes to highlight this ingredient both for its olfactory profile and for the company's dedication and implementation of sustainable and ethical practices.
The Natural Ingredients Project Manager, after learning that the ingredient had won an award at the second edition of the Barcelona Perfumery Awards said that.
