Corea del Sur new mission

Modacc seeks new connections for Catalan fashion. The Clúster de Moda de Catalunya has organised a mission to South Korea. The Fashion Trend Tour Seoul will allow to know first-hand the functioning of the fashion market in this country and will be held from 27 to 29 November this year.

Modacc's Fashion Trend Tour Seoul is a mission that has been organised by Modacc (Clúster Català de la Moda) and also Consorci de Comerç, Artesania i Moda de Catalunya (CCAM/GENCAT), with the collaboration of ACCIÓ.

The main purpose of this mission is to explore the dynamics of the fashion market in Seoul, to seek inspiration for Catalan fashion brands and to consolidate commercial connections in the territory in order to enter and learn how to operate in the South Korean market.

This activity has been designed especially for managers of small and medium-sized fashion companies in Catalonia who work in the area of business development.

As it is also intended to serve as a source of inspiration, other profiles included in this new activity are design managers and those responsible for knowledge centres or other institutions related to the world of fashion.

  • Kick Off: in this preliminary session, the main objectives to be consolidated in this mission will be agreed upon.
  • Key concepts, itinerary and inspirational session: definition of the key concepts that will be worked on during the tour, the proposal and the development of the itinerary.

Both will be developed during the months prior to the mission in order to have a clear roadmap according to the needs and concerns of all participants.

During the Tour to Korea, the 'Safari Korea' will take place. This is when participants will be accompanied by an expert from The Hunter. Daniel Córdoba-Mendiola, Founding Partner and Strategic Director of The Hunter, will be the guide for those who travel to Korea.

ACCIÓ's delegation in Seoul also offers the possibility of organising an agenda with potential business partners in the country, if communicated before 30 September. All the information on this point can be found at here.
