The Amancio Ortega textile group decided to bet on production in its centers in Spain and increased its manufacturing by 13% compared to 2019

In the last data obtained in how much to volume of manufacture by part of Inditex, the group property of Amancio Ortega, has experienced an increase of the production in its Spanish factories.

Until 13% increased in the fiscal year of 2021, the Spanish factories of the group, that are situated in Arteixo and Narón, in Galicia, and invoiceed a total of 1170 million euros, with regard to the 1033 of 2019, as it indicated the daily Expansion, specialised in information in economic key.

With these data, Inditex marks a maximum with regard to the last five years and duplicates the one who obtained in 2020, marked by the pandemia.

The main reason that hides after this strategic decision by part of the textile group is that it has tried to prevail a production of vicinity, since 60% of the shopping make in Spain, Portugal, Turkey and Morocco, as it indicates 'Fashion Network'.

'Inditex' finalised the fiscal year 2021 with a total of 27.716 million euros, figure that will see if it will be surpassed by this 2022, that in the first nine months enciphered his sales in a total of 23.055 million euros. Of 1 February to 31 October, the group property of Amancio Ortega registered a net profit of 3095 million euros, 24% more than in the same period comprised in 2021. Thanks to these numbers, Inditex has achieved to happen on tiptoe by the crisis of the inflation that so hard has struck to other sectors.
