Barcelona hosts this 2026 (May 18-22) the international perfume week, the Barcelona Olfaction Week, a biennial event whose purpose is to make visible and strengthen the perfumery sector, as well as to highlight olfactory culture and science.
For five days, the city and its surroundings become a stage where creativity, learning, interconnection, art, and fragrances converge. From perfume formulation to the exploration of raw materials, the Barcelona Olfaction Week (BOW) proposes a journey that unites tradition and avant-garde.
The program includes the prestigious Mouillette d’Argent International Perfumery Competition, along with workshops, exhibitions, scientific conferences, immersive experiences, and professional meetings that immerse visitors in the universe of perfume.
The BOW 2026 will be the prelude to the Barcelona Perfumery Congress 2027 (BPC), which consolidates its seventh edition with a strong international presence next June 16-17, 2027. Both events are held alternately, thus strengthening the continuity and global projection of the perfume industry ecosystem.
