VMV Cosmetic Group pays tribute to its founder Víctor Martínez Vicario with a museum that refers to his professional career. This April 28, the company has inaugurated the Víctor Martínez Vicario Museum, a space dedicated to preserving and highlighting the professional life and career of the founder, who became a very relevant figure in the evolution of the professional hairdressing and beauty sector.

Different local authorities, relevant personalities, and sector media have attended the event. The Museum is located within the group's central headquarters, in Lliçà de Vall.

A journey through the history of the vocation of Víctor Martínez Vicario
The Víctor Martínez Vicario Museum offers a tour through the most relevant milestones of his career, from his beginnings as an entrepreneur to the consolidation of a business group that is a benchmark nationally and internationally.
The space gathers personal objects, tools, historical documents and emblematic pieces that reflect both the evolution of the company itself, as well as the transformation of the sector throughout the decades.

A legacy based on values
During the inauguration ceremony, the family highlighted the importance of keeping the founder's spirit alive: “Today we inaugurate a very special space for our family and for the entire group. This museum is a tribute to his figure, but also to his way of understanding life and the profession: with passion, effort, and a deep vocation for people. His legacy continues to be the foundation upon which we build the present and future of VMV Cosmetic Group”.
The president of the Víctor Martínez Vicario Foundation, vice-president of the group and wife of Víctor Martínez, Ana Ribes, has spoken about the emotional component behind this project: "This museum is born with the objective of preserving his memory, but also of inspiring new generations of professionals. Víctor not only built a company, he built a way of understanding beauty based on excellence, dedication and respect for the craft”.

A link with the territory, the sector and the future
The family has especially thanked the support of the City Council of Lliçà de Vall, a municipality that has accompanied the growth of the group throughout its history and that forms an essential part of its roots.
On the opening day, the symbolic ribbon cutting has been carried out by the family, followed by a tour of the museum and the screening of an emotional tribute video with testimonies very close to don Víctor, in an atmosphere charged with emotion and recognition.
The museum thus presents itself as an open space, designed not only to remember the past, but to project the future of the sector, keeping alive the values that defined its founder.
