Exports from the Valencian Community continued in positive territory at the close of November 2025, reaching 3,283.6 million euros, a growth of 12.5% compared to the same month of the previous year, according to official data from the Territorial Directorate of Commerce. This places the region as the third largest exporting autonomous community in Spain, contributing more than 10% of the national total in November

Traditional sectors such as food and automotive continue to lead with more than remarkable figures. However, the **chemical products segment**, which includes the value chain of fragrances and components for perfumery and cosmetics, is rebounding and stands out as one of the most dynamic segments of the Valencian export fabric. In November, exports of products from this segment **increased by 13.8%**, representing around **13% of the total exported** from the region

This trend confirms the strength of the Valencian chemical sector, whose international positioning has historically been based on intermediate goods and chemical specialties that serve both the cosmetic industry and the fragrance and personal care industry. Older export data show that items such as mixtures of odoriferous substances, compositions for beauty products, and perfumes have constituted a significant part of foreign sales, consolidating Valencia as a relevant exporter in high value-added niches within fine chemicals related to beauty
