The unmissable event in the Spanish cosmetics sector closed its seventh edition with a figure of almost 2,800 visitors. Cosmetorium, the trade fair organised by the SEQC and held on 18 and 19 October, was attended by more than a hundred exhibitors, including Next in Beauty, which wanted to get a closer look at the latest movements and innovations in the Spanish cosmetics sector.

The more than 100 exhibitors included profiles spanning the entire value chain: raw materials, packaging, technologies and third-party manufacturing, media and consultancy services.

As indicated by the fair organisers, this year's edition has seen an increase in the presence of exhibitors specialising in packaging, testing and certification services, laboratory and analysis equipment: "this profile is expected to continue to grow in future editions", according to the Cosmetorium organising committee.

Maria Aurora Benaiges, president of the SEQC, has made a very positive assessment of this edition of the benchmark event of the cosmetics sector in Spain: "the high level, quality and innovation of the proposals of our exhibitors. We can affirm that Cosmetorium offers professional visitors the best of the cosmetics industry in our country and is key to anticipating the challenges of the market", emphasised Benaiges.

On the first evening of Cosmetorium, the sixth edition of the Cosmetorium Awards was also held. On this occasion, these awards revolved around luminosity and amita health care Iberia was the winner of the award thanks to its innovative creation with its "Shine with its own light" formula. It is an illuminating set in the form of a pearlescent bracelet in which each pearl incorporates a specific active ingredient that provides different care and benefits, from energising properties to correcting skin blemishes.

José Zaragozano, from Step Exhibitions, said: "In this edition, many exhibitors highlighted the high business capacity generated during the show. We have fulfilled our objective of being an event that facilitates multiple business and networking opportunities among professionals from the entire value chain of the Spanish cosmetics industry".

The SEQC has already confirmed the celebration of a new edition of the event to be held again in October 2024 on the 24th and 25th. The location will be the same: Palacio de Congresos de Barcelona.
