The competent authority of the Generalitat de Catalunya has certified that the Complife Iberia laboratory complies with the Principles of Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) established by Royal Decree 822/1993, in the performance of Non-Clinical In Vitro Toxicity Studies with cosmetics and medical devices.
"GLP Good Laboratory Practices define the procedures and organisational principles by which laboratory research for non-clinical testing is planned, performed, controlled, recorded and reported.
With this certification Complife Iberia is officially one of the 17 GLP accredited laboratories in Catalonia for Toxicology/preclinical, eye-skin irritation category. There are 41 GLP compliant laboratories in Spain, 23 of them are in Catalonia and only 17 are accredited in the toxicology category.
The certification just obtained by Complife Iberia laboratories is added to the Quality Management System certified according to ISO 9001:2015 for the following fields:
- Microbiological and chemical-physical testing.
- Technical consultancy services
- Efficacy and safety tests on cosmetics, food supplements, over-the-counter products (detergents, personal hygiene, cosmetotextile patches) and health products.
