The Beauty Cluster has renewed the Gold Label (maximum European seal of excellence in cluster management) granted by ESCA (European Secretariat for Cluster Analysis). The accreditation will be valid until March 31, 2028, consolidating the cluster as a reference organization for its level of professionalization, quality of services, and execution capacity.

A highly selective recognition in Spain

The Gold Label is an accreditation based on an independent evaluation that analyzes key indicators of excellence, such as strategy, governance, funding, impact, service portfolio, and results orientation.

According to the official list published by ESCA, only 11 clusters in Spain currently have this recognition, among them the Beauty Cluster.

Strengths that reinforce the leadership of the Beauty Cluster

The renewal report highlights several structural and management strengths:

  • Growing ecosystem, going from 232 to 255 committed participants compared to the previous evaluation.

  • Financial soundness, with approximately 94% of income from private sources, reducing dependence on public funding.

  • Operational excellence and a broad portfolio of services, with national and international recognition.

  • Effective change management, maintaining business continuity despite relevant milestones in 2025 (including the relocation to a new headquarters).

Projects with impact that consolidate the projection of the cluster

The evaluation also highlights initiatives that reinforce the positioning of the Beauty Cluster and its capacity to generate value for the sector:

  • Next in Beauty, as a lever for visibility and specialized content.

  • e-Beauty Business School, driving the professionalization of the sector with a growing training offer.

  • Barcelona Perfumery Congress (BPC), as a driving event for the ecosystem, with sustained growth in reach and scale.

An external guarantee of quality for the beauty ecosystem

The renewal of the Gold Label certifies that the Beauty Cluster works under European standards of excellence and continuous improvement, reinforcing the trust of companies, partners and sector agents in its governance, professionalization and capacity for impact.
