The Beauty Cluster celebrates its annual assembly in Barcelona

On May 8, the Beauty Cluster gathered its members at its traditional General Assembly, followed by a networking cocktail. The event took place at the Hoxton Hotel in Barcelona and was attended by more than 100 professionals from the cosmetics, perfumery and personal care sector.

The Assembly was led by Adrià Martínez, Project Manager of the Beauty Cluster, and was attended by Eva Lluch, vice president of the cluster; Marc Crous, former president; and David García, who officially assumed the presidency for the next two years.

During the session, Adrià Martínez presented a summary of the activities carried out in 2024, among which the Beauty Innovation Days, the Digital Beauty Awards, the Mouillette d'Argent Perfumery Contest, collaborations with other entities and organizations in the sector and the presence of the Beauty Cluster at international fairs stood out. The status of multi-year projects was also presented, such as the cluster's training entity, the Beauty Business School, highlighting the milestones achieved this year. Miriam Mora, editor of Next in Beauty, presented the main novelties of the media, placing special emphasis on the launch of its paper version and the positive reception it has had among partners and professionals.

Likewise, the new additions and departures within the cluster were announced and the change in presidency was made official. After concluding his mandate, Marc Crous passed the baton to David García, CEO of Laboratorios Ximart, who shared with the attendees his objectives for this new stage: to strengthen the international leadership of the cluster and promote innovation, sustainability and digitalization in the sector.

Once the institutional part was over, the attendees enjoyed the usual networking cocktail on the terrace of the Hoxton Hotel, with spectacular views of Barcelona. The relaxed atmosphere was enriched by the participation of the Improshow group, which brought humor and freshness to the day, facilitating the connection between partners in an informal and dynamic environment.
