Yesterday, the Spanish Agency for Medicines and Health Products announced an order to cease marketing and withdraw from the market the cosmetic mist of the brand 'Ma Brume Fraîcheur' due to microbiological contamination.
This microbiological contamination, as reported by the entity dependent on the Ministry of Health, has been caused by the presence of the microorganism 'Burkholderia cepacia'.
The AEMPS has indicated that the European Union's Rapid Exchange System (Safety Gate - Rapex) raised the alert and, thanks to this, they have become aware of the contamination. The bacteria found may pose a risk to people with respiratory problems or weakened immune systems.
This product is marketed by the company Sogiphar, part of the Giphar group, in France and has voluntarily decided to withdraw the product from the market and to recall all the units placed on the market of batch 119C23 of this product.
