Special Chemicals, the company that distributes raw materials for the cosmetics and perfumery sector, celebrated its 25th anniversary on 29 March. Taking advantage of the world's leading event for personal care ingredients, InCosmetics Barcelona, Special Chemicals celebrated its 25th anniversary with a great after party.
The company established in 1994 in Barcelona chose this ideal date to gather all its main suppliers, customers and distributors at the "Special Chemicals XXV Anniversary Party". This commemoration was a party that had been pending since 2020 and was forced to be cancelled due to the pandemic.
The company emphasised that this in-Cosmetics was very special for them, as in addition to the fact that the fair was returning to Barcelona, they would be welcoming it in a special way to be able to celebrate the company's 25th anniversary three years later. "We are still moved by the great reception of the event and we celebrate the trust and communication that exists between us after so long," the company says.
25 years of Zschimmer & Schwarz Spain
The Zschimmer & Schwarz Group, founded in 1894 by Otto Zschimmer and Max Schwarz in Chemnitz, Germany, celebrated its 25th anniversary in March. In the beginning, production was oriented towards the chemical business, dyestuffs and pharmaceuticals. Shortly afterwards, it expanded its markets and opened branches in other countries on all five continents.
Zschimmer & Schwarz arrived in Spain during the ceramic boom in the province of Castellón in the 1980s. Given its good reception, a decade later it bought Ceramco, leading to the merger of the two companies, which until then had been operating independently in our country. In 1998, the company Zschimmer & Schwarz Spain was founded, with new facilities located in Vila-real, the current location of the subsidiary. Twenty-five years have passed since then. During this time, Zschimmer & Schwarz España has grown from 8 to 60 employees, has incorporated 5 more business divisions (Personal Care, Industrial Specialities, Cleaning Specialities, Textile Auxiliaries and Fibre Auxiliaries) and has achieved great international recognition.
To mark its anniversary, Zschimmer & Schwarz España has presented the project "25 years leaving a trail", making available to all interested parties a website that seeks to pay tribute to the professionals who have been with the company since its beginnings and to the new ones who have joined it over the course of this quarter of a century, as well as to explain the milestones that have left their mark on the industry.
Thanks to an interactive timeline, the development of the subsidiary can be seen as if it were a journey through time. Photographs and micro-videos featuring the team, customers and partners will be available. An event is planned for the summer, bringing together employees and those closest to the company.
