After a decade dedicated to perfecting its own eyebrow design method in Latin America, Samsara arrives in Spain after achieving a turnover of €4.5 million. The company begins its activity in the Spanish market with the opening of three company-owned centers in Madrid and an initial team of 25 professionals, integrated into a global structure that already exceeds 150 employees. For this first phase of implementation in Spain, the firm has allocated an investment of one million euros.
Consolidated in Costa Rica and Colombia, Samsara has built its growth on a highly specialized model, based on 100% owned centers, intensive training, technical standardization, and exhaustive facial diagnostics
The company, in full expansion, plans to reach twelve operational centers in Spain before September 2026, between Madrid and Barcelona, expanding its team to over 90 people. In its establishment in Spain, Samsara will allocate around four million euros in sustained investment, with the aim of professionalizing and raising the standard of eyebrow care.
A Madrid native returns with a refined method
David Urda, founder and CEO of Samsara, left Madrid at 21 with few resources and no experience in the beauty sector to move to Costa Rica, where in 2015 he created the company from scratch. He began the project alone, serving clients, designing eyebrows, and personally developing what would become the Kallí Brow Method, his own facial visagism technique, accompanied by an internal training system that professionalizes the trade.
In 2017, she launched Kallí Cosmetics, her own line of products for exclusive use in her centers, and in 2018, she began expanding to Colombia, demonstrating the creation of a scalable model. That journey gave rise to Samsara, a brand that today operates **14 centers in Latin America** and **opens its first three spaces in Madrid**. *"Returning to Madrid after ten years is closing one chapter and opening another with what I've learned. I'm coming back to create, not to compete,"* says Urda.
Growth and international expansion
Since its founding in Costa Rica, Samsara has grown steadily, consolidating itself as a benchmark in professional eyebrow design in Latin America. With a presence in Costa Rica for 10 years and in Colombia for 7, the company has 14 wholly-owned operational centers and serves more than 10,000 clients per month. In 2024, the company recorded 25% growth compared to the previous year, reflecting the strength of a model based on specialization and demand for professional services
After its development in Latin America, the company is now opening its borders and making the leap into the Spanish market with its first three company-owned centers in Madrid, located in CC Plenilunio, CC Plaza Norte, and CC Gran Plaza 2. The expansion plan includes reaching twelve company-owned centers in Spain before the end of this year.
