Phergal Laboratorios participated in “Horizonte Madrid Este”, the meeting held at the Corral de Comedias de Alcalá de Henares to analyze the present and future of the East of the Community of Madrid from the perspective of institutions, municipalities and companies.
The company participated in the conference as an example of a consolidated company closely linked to the territory, sharing a trajectory of more than four decades from Torrejón de Ardoz and a business evolution that has led it to develop a growing national and international presence.
Representing Phergal Laboratorios was Marta González Pérez-Iñigo, the company's Communication Manager, who highlighted Phergal's experience as a company that has managed to grow from the Henares Corridor while maintaining its roots in the municipality where it carries out its activity.
During her speech, González Pérez-Iñigo highlighted precisely that combination of local roots and international projection: “It is a source of pride to have built from Torrejón de Ardoz a business project that today is present in more than 45 countries,” said the Communication Manager of Phergal Laboratorios.
Phergal's participation thus allowed to bring to the meeting a concrete case of business growth linked to the East of Madrid: that of a company that, since its establishment in Torrejón de Ardoz more than 40 years ago, has evolved relying on innovation, research and the development of new products to progressively expand its activity beyond Spain.
The trajectory of Phergal Laboratorios served to illustrate the role that companies established in the territory can play as a driver of development, employment and generation of opportunities.
Founded in 1984, Phergal has built over more than four decades a business project closely linked to Torrejón de Ardoz, from where it has been expanding its activity and developing brands and products with presence in more than 45 countries. This rootedness also has an important reflection in local employment. Phergal Laboratorios currently has more than 200 employees and approximately 50% of its workforce is made up of people residing in Torrejón de Ardoz, reinforcing the company's link with the municipality and its contribution to the economic and social fabric of the area.
Throughout these years, the company has made innovation, research, and product development some of the pillars of its growth. Phergal has more than 12,500 square meters of facilities in Torrejón de Ardoz, from which it carries out activities related to research, development, production, logistics, and the commercialization of solutions aimed at beauty and well-being.
