Perfumery professionals and experts once again attend an unmissable event. Last June 20, Barcelona hosted the awards ceremony of the Mouillette d'Argent international perfumery competition. The Mouillette d'Argent once again proves that it is an encounter that combines creativity, artistic sensibility and technical excellence in the world of perfume.

Upon learning that he was the winner, Abdullah said that: “This award challenges me to improve myself and deepen my knowledge of materials. It is a unique platform to test creativity and emotional connection with raw materials. I am deeply grateful to the organizers for creating such an inspiring space to share our art with the world."
- Jury Prize for the Best Independent Perfumer: the winner was Flora Gordon, from Australia, for her creation Llama Secreta.
- Audience Award: Chosen by more than 650 people who visited the collaborating perfumeries to smell and vote for the finalist creations. The award went to Disha Meta, from Singapore, perfumer at Luzi, for her fragrance Bourbon Dust.

The note of the next contest: patchouli
In this edition, the protagonist olfactory note has been cistus, a raw material of Mediterranean origin that provides a rich, resinous aroma with amber and leather nuances. The jury in charge of choosing the winners is an expert and prestigious jury made up of Ramón Monegal, Luz Vaquero and Agustí Vidal, as well as prominent figures from the world of communication, independent perfumery and wine.

At the gala, it was also revealed what the note for the next contest will be and the chosen one has been patchouli, an earthy and enveloping essence that has marked the history of modern perfumery and promises to inspire new creations full of character and emotion.
The contest, organized and promoted by Ainea Perfums, Noreste Studio, the Julio Muñoz Ramonet Foundation and Lluch Essence, has had the institutional support of the Barcelona City Council, the Beauty Cluster and the Perfume Academy. In addition, companies such as Rosendo Mateu, Scentmate by DSM-Firmenich, Lluch Essence, Rafesa, Ramón Monegal, Cosmo International Fragrances, Eurofragrance and Iberchem support the event as sponsors.
