From September 29 to October 1, 2025, the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco hosted the 37th edition of LuxePack Monaco, the leading international trade fair for luxury packaging, cosmetics, perfumes, and other premium goods. Within this framework, part of the Next in Beauty team and the Beauty Cluster attended to delve into and learn firsthand about the main trends in the sector.

The event featured more than 450 exhibitors presenting the latest innovations in the packaging sector, processes, designs, and materials used. The fair had more than 10,000 visitors and a large international presence: these visitors came from more than 80 different countries. One of the main novelties of this edition was the expansion of the exhibition space with an additional 6,000 square meters, which allowed it to accommodate more exhibitors. During the three days of the fair, almost 40 conferences, workshops, and professional meetings were held with the creation of thematic spaces such as The Portal, The Col'Lab, and specific areas to promote networking among attendees.

Featured Trends in LuxePack

  • Integral sustainability: fully recyclable monomaterials, reduction of the use of plastics that generate problems for the environment, and a wide presence of refill and airless packaging. Numerous exhibitors showed how their products could be reused, disassembled, or components recovered with the fundamental objective of minimizing waste.
  • Innovation with applied technology: connectivity, traceability, generative artificial intelligence in design, smart materials... On this point, in the coming years, artificial intelligence will be able to answer the consumer's main questions through a QR code on the packaging, which will resolve consumers' questions about the product it contains.
  • Sensory experience and luxury aesthetics: personalized finishes, textures, packaging exclusively designed to succeed on social networks that generate pleasant sounds when opened. It was also observed how the minimalism of luxury or 'quiet luxury' continues to set the tone in a large part of the innovations presented.
  • Portability and mini sizes: increase in products in charm format to improve their use and generate consumer dependence, and also seen as a decorative element.
  • Pastel colors are no longer the preferred choice: the new generations continue to opt for pastel tones, but it is not their only color palette. They are also betting on stronger, bolder, fresher, and more groundbreaking tones.

The next edition of LuxePack Monaco will be held on September 28, 29 and 30, 2026 at the Grimaldi Forum.
