Galderma, the pharmaceutical company specializing in dermatology and dermocosmetics, announced on January 23 through a press release the opening of a new Global Capability Center in Barcelona to promote the global and functional growth of the teams belonging to the company. It will be the only global catchment centre it will have across the European continent.
With this opening, from Galderma expect to cover a wide range of functions of support, including the figure of commercial, finances, human resources, IT, legal, chain of supply and other functions of corporate support.
Flemming Ornskov, the CEO of the company, has explained that this new centre in Barcelona will allow to the company to contribute new additional capacities and will improve the skill to offer support to his knowledge. If of something more benefits Barcelona, is that this new installation will create until 50 places of work in the Catalan capital.
The Minister of Labour of the Government of Catalonia, has stood out that "projects like the one of Galderma reaffirm the position of Catalonia like pole of talent for the sanitary industry. We have an ecosystem of high level of more than 1.300 companies devoted to the health, in addition to centres of investigation, hospitals and universities that serve like international referents."
The opening will make in the weeks to come, although is still unknown the exact date.
