Mane's Chinese subsidiary has announced the official commencement of construction for Phase II of its production plant in Pinghu, a project that began on October 31, 2025, with a total investment of $70 million (approximately 81 million euros). This expansion, which will occupy an area of 14,000 m², aims to strengthen Mane's industrial capabilities in China, with a special focus on fragrance manufacturing

According to Denis Raffaud, General Manager for the Asian region, this development reflects "Mane's continued commitment to long-term investment in China and the Asia-Pacific region".

The decision to push forward with this second phase responds to the constant growth in local demand and the changing needs of customers. The inauguration of Phase I in June 2023 marked the launch of the company's production base in the country, laying the groundwork for its expansion.

The project will include a wide range of fragrance technologies and formats, such as liquids, adsorption, spray drying, microencapsulation, and macroencapsulation. In particular, encapsulation technology will enable a longer-lasting and more stable release of fragrances in various applications, a key aspect for final products. Phase II is scheduled for completion in the third quarter of 2027, at which point Mane's annual production capacity is expected to increase by 17,000 tons, significantly expanding its ability to serve customers in the Asia-Pacific region.

These new facilities will complement the fine fragrance creation center that Mane inaugurated in China in 2024 and are part of the group's strategy to sustain its growth over the next decade.
